London Heathrow Airport, also known simply as Heathrow, is the single busiest airport in all of the United Kingdom, and the fourth busiest in all the world. Operated and owned by BAA Limited, a Spanish company that operates airports in both the UK and Italy, this airport is a primary hub for British Airways, though it is also used by over 90 other airlines to fly passengers all over the world. This helps to make Heathrow the airport to serve the most international travelers, including businessmen being visited by high class Heathrow escorts at their hotels.
This airport is located in the London Borough of Hillingdon, just 12 nautical miles to the west of Central London. There are two runways at the airport, one of which faces the east and one of which faces the west. A third runway was planned to be built for the airport, but construction was canceled in May of 2010.
